What to know before your upcoming appointment
Avoid alcohol and painkillers or blood-thinning medication 24 hours before your appointment.
If desired, eyebrow waxing should be done at least 1 week prior to your appointment. I will shape your brows during the appointment.
Avoid chemical/laser peels 6 weeks before appointment
Avoid botox or filler on desired treatment area for 4 weeks before your appointment
AHA, BHAs, and retinoids should be avoided 2 weeks before appointment. These include Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Mandelic Acid, Malic Acid, Citric Acid, Tartaric Acid, Salicylic Acid, Vitamin A, and Retinols.
A doctors note is required if you have an auto-immune disease, chemo/radiation in the last 12 months, bleeding conditions, liver disease, or any other major medical issues. If you are taking any medications that may affect your healing or bleeding please get a doctors note before your appointment.

What to expect before my eyebrow appointment?
I will shape your brows during the appointment. Please allow your natural brow hair grow in as normal.
You may wear makeup to show me how you typically wear your brows
You may bring your current eyebrow product for reference to choose color. This will help when deciding the best suitable option.

What to expect before my eyeliner appointment?
Please come with no makeup on your eyes.
If you have eyelash extensions, you must remove them a few days before your appointment and they cannot be put back on until two weeks after your touch up.
Stop any lash serums for at least 4 weeks.
Please bring glasses if you wear contact lenses. You cannot wear contacts for 24 hours after your appointment.

What to expect before my lip blushing appointment?
Bring your favorite everyday natural lip color.
Keep your lips extra moisturized for 1 week before your appointment. I recommend Aquaphor (which is your aftercare).
If you are prone to cold sores, please take a preventative medication for at least 5 days before your appointment. Consult your doctor for recommendations.
Exfoliate with a lip scrub morning and night 3 days before your appointment. I recommend a sugar scrub or a lip scrub brush.

What to expect after my appointment
GENERAL AFTERCARE
For the next two weeks, keep treated area clean and dry
Sleep with a clean pillow case and try to sleep on your back the night of
Do not let treated area get wet for 24-48hours after your appointment
Scabbing and peeling is normal. Do not pick the scabs as it will pull the pigment out.
Avoid direct sunlight, chlorine, steam or excessive sweating, and makeup or other products on treated area for the next two weeks
Pigment will get lighter and darker through the healing phase. A 6-8 week touch up is necessary along with proper aftercare, for your best chance at desired results
The brand of aftercare ointment and wash we supply in the aftercare bag is Mild Dial soap and Aquaphor. Please keep aftercare ointment and wash for your touch-up appointment.
BROWS
I will provide you with cotton rounds. For each hour after your appointment you need to blot the lymph off of your brows. I will provide ointment to use during your healing process. Pat dry with a clean towel and apply antibacterial soap and the same ointment. You should do this 1-2 times a day until they start peeling, then let them be. Some clients with experience flaking or scabbing. This is a normal part of the process. Do not pick the scabs, as this will pull the pigment out and can cause scarring.
LIPS
Your lips will be swollen and sore the day of your appointment. You may ice them on and off for 15 minutes for an hour the night of the appointment. Prevent dryness. Start applying vaseline and Aquaphor at least 4 times a day, but as often as you would like. Lip touch up is recommended 8-16 weeks after your initial appointment. Your color will not fully flourish until 3-4 months after your touch up.
EYELINER
Do not wear contacts for the first 24 hours after your appointment. Apply a pea-sized amount of provided ointment to treated area if flaking occurs. Starting the next day, gently wash and blot dry with a clean towel. Rinse with saline eyedrops or pure saline if your lashes are sticking together. Do not wear mascara or other eye makeup for the next 7 days. You may ice your eyelids on and off for 15 minutes for an hour if your eyes are swollen or sore. See your eye doctor for any serious concerns.

Does it hurt?
There may be minimal discomfort. However, I will apply a topical anesthetic cream (Zensa 5% lidocaine cream) and a topical anesthetic gel (Tag45 5% lidocaine gel) once the skin has been broken open. Once applied you should only minor pressure on the area we are working on. This is very minimal!

Do you remove all of my natural hair?
No, our goal with our clients is to utilize as much of their natural hair as possible. When reshaping the eyebrow we will clean up any excess hair on the brow that we don’t need.

How long will my appointment take?
We ask clients to plan for 1.5-2 hours.

Can I workout?
It is recommended to avoid working out, hot tubs and saunas. Sweating with your new eyebrows can cause the area to push the pigment out. Light exercise is fine.

What products do you use?
l use Permablend pigments which are vegan and cruelty free. Zensa topical 5% lidocaine cream. Tag45 5% lidocaine gel. Mild Dial Soap, and aquaphor ointment.
